It's so much fun working with the Sizzix spin and stamp tool.
This autumn scene was also published in RubberStamp Madness fall 2025, pag.30.

The LCD/CV team was published in Rubberstamp Madness.

 Dear blog readers,
We at Lost Coast Designs/Carmens Veranda Stamps are proud to be featured
on pages 30 and 31 of the fall issue of Rubberstamp Madness, titled "Being in a Design Team."

There are seven talented DT members in total: Gail, our team leader,
Liesbeth, Cathy, Darlene, Aimee, Kathi, and myself.
I was therefore surprised that some of my work was published with the article.
I had made an arcordion booklet.
These are the stamps I used:
The booklet is made with Brusho and black acrylic paint.
I hope you enjoyed it.

Inchie, Twinchie or dominos challenge at Lost Coast Designs/Carmens Veranda stamps.

 Hi everyone,
Today I made a card with inchies for the challenge at Lost Coast Designs.
The stamps I used are:

I also used:
Versafine onyx black
Black paint
Black marker
coloring pencils
Distress oxide Hickory smoke
Stickels diamond

I stamped 4 bugz on 4 inchies with Versafine onyx black.
I colored them in with pencils.
Stamped the large dragonfly onto the background paper with Versafine Onyx Black.
In the bottom corners, I stamped the Daisy Floral with Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke.
Colored the dragonfly and added diamond stickles to the wings and the bugs.
Outlined the inchies and the background with a black marker.
Splattered some black paint and matte with white,
and gave them a black border with the marker as well.
And that's about it.
Not too difficult this time.
So even beginning stampers can do this.

Come and join the challenge.
You can enter with any brand, so you're not required to use LCD/CV stamps.
We hope to see you there, and maybe you'll be the winner of the challenge.

Inchies, Twinchies and Dominos, lets craft a card.

Hello stampers and cardmakers.
The new monthly challenge starts today at Lost Coast Designs.
The challenge is: Inchies, Twinchies, and/or Dominos.
I chose to use all three sizes on the card.
I used,
Distress Oxide,
 Fossilized amber
Spiced marmelade,
Peeled paint,
Chipped saphire
and
Ground espressso.
Black water resistent ink.
Black marker.

I started with a 4x4 inch piece of cardstock.
And I used the cutting tool to cut 1 inchie, 1 twinchie, and 1 domino from white paper.

I first looked at how I would put them down.

I did some inkblending with
Distress Oxide,
 Fossilized amber
Spiced marmelade,
Peeled paint,
Chipped saphire
and
Ground espressso.

I moistened the shrubbery stamp with a water spray bottle.
And made an impression on the inked background.
Let the moisture soak in for a moment before removing the stamp.

Let the background dry completely.
In the meantime, we'll stamp all three inches with black ink.

Use a black marker to draw a black border around the paper.
Do the same with the background.

Consider how you want to arrange the card.
Apply 3D tape to the backs and then stick them to the background.

Adhere everything to the white cardstock.
Stamp the sentiment in black ink.
I've added "Happy Birthday," but you can put anything you like on it.

That's it for this time.
The team would love it if you would participate in the challenge.
You can even participate without LCD or CV stamps.
As long as your card is stamped.
Otherwise, please read the rules.
