Birthday card for a man.

 I made this card with distress ink Stormy sky and Faded jeans.

The stamps are from Studio light.

Love the "Under the sea" challenge at Lost Coast designs.

 Today my second contribution to the "Under the sea" challenge at Lost Coast Designs. 

The challenge runs until the end of the month, so there's still plenty of time to participate.

And it is even allowed to participate with other brands.

But now the step by step of this card.

I have used these stamps,

Crackle background 5,

Spikeyfish and Anchorfish.

Furthermore I have used:

Dylusions ink spray, Calypso teal, Vibrant turquoise and Funky fuchsia.

Distressink Rusty hinge,

Versafine black onyx,

Color pencils I have used Derwent intense,

but you can decide for yourself how you color the fish.

White pigment ink.

white gel pen,

White posca marker.

Black fineliner that is waterproof.

Stencil with cirkel holes in it.

This is how I made it.

First I sprayed the 3 Dylusionsprays on a sturdy paper.

I did that on 2 sheets, 1 for the card and 1 for the plants I cut later with a die.

With the versafine black I stamped the fish in the places where I want them.

 I also stamp them on thin paper to color them in.

For the background I used the crackle stamp and the white pigment ink.

Use only part of the stamp and stamp around the fish.

With a stencil with small circles I drew the bubbles.

and remove some of the ink with water.

With the posca I drew a line on the bubbles as a reflection of the light.

Now we are going to color the fish and give accents with the white gel pen. 

Cut them out and glue them to the fish on the card.

I cut out the waterplants with a die on the Big Shot.

Some I gave an orange color with the distress ink Rusty Hindge.

Glue the plants to the card.

Mat the card with black cardstock.

I must say that I absolutely love the fish, so detailed and so much fun to color.

So I immediately made a card with it in watercolor paint. 

I have combined the seagulls, text and seal stamp, from the Crafty Individuals set CI-278 Beside the sea.

Hallo everyone, 

Today I made a wall hanger with the steampunk mermaid stamp. 

She is such a sweetheart, just love her. 

I made the wall hanger in aqua colors, but it is of course possible in any color that you like. 

With dylusions ink sprays I colored a piece of gauze. 

I colored the little pearls with alcohol ink. 

While it is drying I colored the mermaid with pencils and cut it out.

I had the rest of the decorations lying around for years, so a great opportunity to use them. 

I glued everything together. 

Then I added some fine glitter with the Nuvo glitter gloss. 

It is a pity that it cannot be seen in the photo, because it shines very nicely.

Indigiblu's prachtige zeepaardje.

Hallo allemaal, 

Ja zeker, ik heb een kaart maken met de schitterende stempel van Indigoblu.

Ik ben begonnen met een achtergrond met distress oxide, victorian velvet, chipped sapphire,

speckled egg en tattered rose.

Ik heb deze kleuren opgebracht met een smalle brayer.

Dan heb ik passende kleuren tombow markers gebruikt om in te kleuren.

Van elke kleur een lichte en een donkere.

Met Wow embossing poeder heb ik de krullen met luchtbellen gestempeld.

Ook de tekst heb ik met dezelfde embossing poeder gestempeld.

Dat geeft nou net dat beetje extra aan de kaart.

Met een tombow marker heb ik de krullen en luchtbellen gekleurd.

Het zeepaardje heb ik gestempeld op aquarel papier, ingekleurd met de tombow markers.

Het zeepaardje uitknippen/snijden en op lijmen.

Voor de afwerking nog even hier en daar aanstippen met een witte gelpen.

En dat was het voor deze keer.

Schelpen voor Wednesday Stampers 2

Hé, ik ben gelukkig weer wat opgeknapt.

Nog even snel deze ATC voor de Wednesday stampers challange.

Thema is schelpen.

Ja mensen, dit is wel een ouder werkje van mij.

Maar ik lig ziek op bed en wil toch graag meedoen met de "Wednesday Stampers" challange, over schelpen.

Rechts onder in de hoek heb ik een klein strand tafereeltje gemaakt met inkt en stempels.

Mermaid and friends

Leven op de bodem van de zee, tja heel mooi maar niet geschikt voor ons mensen. Maar deze zeemeermin is er heel tevreden mee. Ik heb de kaart gemaakt met distress inkt en met clear embossingpoeder en glitters afgewerkt.

Nautische kaart

Ik ben dol op kaarten met een nautische thema, als je verder kijkt op mijn blog kom je ze ook regelmatig tegen.
De oceanen zijn ook een boeiend onderwerp.
Of het nu een zeilboot bij zonsondergang is, of een misterieus zeepaardje of wat schelpen op een hoopje.
Ik vind het altijd weer mooi om te maken.

Hoop dat jullie dat ook vinden.

Under the sea

Gisteren heb ik eens lekker zitten knoeien met ecoline inkt.

Dit achtergrondje kwam er uit.

Ik vond hem zelf schitterend en moest gelijk aan een oceaan met prachtige bloed koraal denken.

Ja, en het vishaakje is natuurlijk een beetje humor.

De vissen zijn op pergamano papier gestempeld en gekleurd met inkt en afgewerkt met een witte gel pen.

Nou, dat was het wel weer voor vandaag.
