#207 Make it funny challenge at lost Coast designs/Carmens Veranda stamps.

Look at these mischievous gnomes.
They want to sneak a peek but don't quite dare.
Hahahaha, I find this so funny.

The things I used for this card:
Stencil with letters.
Any stencil you like.
Derwent Inktense storm dust 2107.
Distress Oxide,
Hickory smoke.
Distress ink.
Saltwater taffy
Barn door.
Coloring pencils or markers.
Black fineliner.
Ruler.

I started making stripes with the Saltwater taffy.

Repeat with barn door and a little bit of hickory smoke.
Spray some water so that the colors blend a little.
Dry with heattool.

Using the gray Inktense pencil, draw the planks and nail heads.

Take a piece of paper and stamp the keyhole.
Mask the outside and stamp the lingerie lady.
Stamp the gnomes and color all.
Glue on the card.
With the Hickory smoke oxide and a stencil embellish the card.
Use the black fineliner to finish the card.
Whell that was fun to do.
Now its up to you, the team would love to have a laugh with your card,
tag, or what ever you make.
Join the challenge, you dont need to use LCD or CV stamps.
As long as there is stamping on it you can join.
Hope to see you on the challenge.

Here is another tutorial with the same technique.

#207 A new month, a new Lost Coast design/Carmens Veranda challenge. "Make it funny".

Hello, welcome to my blog.
For this challenge, I immediately thought of Carrie's Old Women from LCD.
So funny, and the text from Carmen's Veranda stamps are hilarious too.
Take a look, they are so much fun.

ClearStamp Words and Phrases

Now, how the card was made.
What I used:
A stencil with a checkered pattern.
Versafine onyx black.
Distress oxide:
Spiced marmelade.
Peacock feathers.
Wilted violet.
Colorng pencils or markers.

I started by inking the stencil with Spiced Marmalade.
I wiped the center clean, about the size of the old lady.
Sprayed some water over it and pressed it onto the paper.

With the stencil and peacock feathers applied here and there.

Stamp the three rings four times and the old lady en the text stamp
 with Versafine black.
(You can use any black ink, of course.)

From the Brush Strokes sheet, take the stamp with the bubble wrap.
I roll it around my finger and stamp only a portion of the stamp.
I did this with Wilted Violet.

And then the card is finished.
At the end of this post, you'll find another example using this stamp.

You can probably make a fun card too.
Then join the challenge, and you might be the next winner.
