#209 No body here, challenge at Lost Coast Designs

For this challenge I made a collage card.

LCD rubber stamps I used.

Versafine onyx black
Distressink
Broken china
Scattered straw
Spiced Marmelade
waterbased markers in the same colors.
thick black marker
15cm x 21 cm watercolor paper.

Start by stamping the three collage stamps in black.

Mask them off and continue filling the empty spaces with the other stamps.

We color the background with water and the distress ink.

We fill in the empty spaces further with the smallest script stamp from the Pieces of Calligraphy.
We do this with Distress Ink Broken China.

For the dictionary stamps, take a piece of paper and color it with the distress ink.
Stamp the dictionary stamps with versafine black onto the paper

Color the stamps with the markers.

Cut the words to size and trace the edges with a black marker.
Matt the card with black.

And then the card is finished; it also makes a nice Art Journal page.

I invite you to join the challenge.
There is a prize to be won.

#209 Challenge at Lost Coast designs/Carmens Veranda stamps "No body here"

Hi, here is a new tutorial for you.
Its made for the new challenge "No body here" over at Lost Coast Designs.

This is what I used for this card.

Distressink:
Scattered straw
Crushed olive
Gathered twigs
Walnut stain
Pumice stone
Archival ink Coffee
Versa mark Jumbo Java
Bister naturel or any other brown ink.
Foamtape

I started by making the background yellow using the Scattered straw and some water.
And I added brown spots to it with gathered twigs.

Stamped the rose with pumice stone.

With walnut stain I stamped the crackle,
and the smal script from the Pieces of calligraphy sheet.
I also made the edges darker.

I frayed the edges with a distress tool.
And inked them again with the walnut stain.
I made some drops on the paper with brown bistre.

You stamp the filmstrip with the Versa Mark Jumbo Java.
Once it is completely dry, go over it with a blending tool and Pumice stone.

Take one of the stamps from the Pieces of Architecture sheet and stamp with
Pumice Stone in a taped-off box of the filmstrip.
Now stamp one of the bugs with Archival Ink Coffee.
If you don't have this ink, any other brown ink will work too.
Take a piece of foam tape and stick the filmstrip diagonally
onto the card so that the rose remains clearly visible.
Matte with a dark brown background.
Hope you enjoyed it.
It would be nice if you joined the challenge.
If you have made something with stamps, then join the challenge.
Stamps from other brands are also allowed.
Stamps from Lost Coast Designs or Carmens Veranda are not required.
You can always join in, as long as there is no body on it; otherwise, anything goes.
