The challenge "Anything goes" is still runnig over at Lost Coast Designs. Here's my Carmen's Veranda dog card.

Hello stampers and crafters.
The "Anything goes" challenge is still running until the end of the month.
Hop over to the Lost Coast Designs/Carmens Veranda blog and join so you can win prizes.

Now about the card.
I used these stamps:

Distress oxide:
Barn door
Musterd seed
Spiced marmelade
Chipped sapphire,
Peacock feathers.
Any water resistend black inkpad.
White pasca or gellpen.
Color pencils, I used derwent colorsoft.

How the card is made:
I started by sponging the colors Barn door,
Musterd seed and
Spiced marmelade onto the card.

I made a stamp impression with the crackle background stamp that I sprayed some water on.

This is a simple technique but with a very nice result.

We now continue with the stamp of the Carmen dog.
We first make a mask from that.

Take a piece of white paper that is slightly larger than the dog.
Stamp the dog with waterproof ink.
Stick the mask on and then sponge the paper with Peacock feathers.
Let it dry.

Leave the mask on.
Stamp with chipped sapphire and the heart and curls border,
left and right along the dog.
Let everything dry thoroughly before removing the mask.

Color with pencils or markers the dog.

Make white dots in the curls with the posca or white gellpen.

Stamp the saying with peacock feathers.
Put white dots with the posca or gellpen.

Matt the card with turquoise and purple.
And glue the carmen dog on the top.

Well this was fun to do and a very cheerful card.
There is still more than a week to participate in the "Anything goes" challenge,
on the Lost coast Designs/Carmens Veranda blog.
If you participate you have a chance to win stamps.
You can even participate with stamps from other companies.
Please read the rules first, as they have recently changed.
Have a great day.

The monthly challenge at Lost Coast Designs/Carmens Veranda stamps is "Anything goes".

Hi there,
Today this card with tulips.
I really like it combined with the black circles.
I stamped the white spots with the kissing technique.

This is what I used:
Memento tuxedo black.
Hero arts unicorn,
Distress oxide,
Abandoned Coral,
Wilted violet,
Musterd seed,
Cracked pistachio,
White posca marker.
Stencils.
Derwent inktense pencils.

I started using an ink blending tool to apply spots of the oxide colors.
Then I sprayed them with water and dried them with the heat tool.
It looks something like this.
Really love my distress oxides.
With the memento tuxedo black I stampt the shadow frame stamp twice.
I used a stamping tool to do that.
Its importend to leave the stamp on the stampingtool.
And keep your card on place.
Let the black ink dry.
With the bubbles stamp from the brushstrokes sheet,
I stamped the white Hero Arts unicorn
on the shadow frame stamp (Kissing technique).
Now stamp it on the black ink on your card.
With the memento black an 2 stamps from the Pieces of calligraphy set,
I stamped in the corners and on the side of the shadow frame.
With stencils and a blending tool,
I filled up the empty spaces with the Distress oxide.

With the posca pen I doodled around the dots
and on the black crikels.
I colored the tulips with Derwent inktense pencils.
I chose the noline color technique,
but of course that is not necessary.
You can also choose to stamp with black and then color it.
Glue the tulips onto the black circles and matte with black cardboard.

Come and join the challenge, you have until the end of the month.
You then have a chance to win gorgeus rubber stamps.
Who would not want that????
Please read the rules first, because the rules have changed.
Good luck and see you next time.

Love stamping with flowers and fairy's.

I made this card with the beautiful stamp from Pink Ink Designs "Florishing Foxglove".
The fairy is from de Stempel winkel..
The background was made with Distressink tattered rose, saltwater taffy, aged mahogany, rustic wildernes, peeled paint and twisted citron.

A bouquet of flowers.

Hi there, I made a card with a bouquet of flowers.
This card is always useful.
You can use it for a birthday or as a gratitude card.
Or just to cheer someone up.
I made it with a stamp from Studio Light and colored it with Talens van Gogh watercolor.

The challenge at lost Coast Designs is "Anything goes"

Dear readers, first of all I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year.
I wish prosperity and happiness and creativity for each of you.
And of course, most importantly, good health.

The challenge has moved from a bi-weekly to a one-month challenge.
This way everyone has a little more time to make something and participate.
Now my tag for the new challenge from Lost Coast Designs.
Here is the step by step explanation.

Materials I used:

Versa magic,
Purple Hydrangea
Distress Oxide,
chipped sapphire
Distress ink,
chipped sapphire
faded jeans
speckled egg
dusty concord
Die for a window frame
White acrylic paint to splatter.
Distress micro glaze.

I started to color the tag with Speckled egg.

I made a print on the right side of the tag with the daisy floral and micro glaze.

I sponged the right half of the tag with Faded jeans and chipped sapphire.

I made some spots on the left half of the tag with Dusty Concord.

With the versa magic and the ledger stamp,
I made a print over the left side of the tag.
let it dry.

In the meantime,
I cut out a frame with a piece of paper that I colored with Speckled egg.

I darkened the openings in the die with Dusty Concord.

I stamped the text from Carmens Veranda stamps and a border from the
brush strokes sheet with Distress oxide chipped sapphire.
Did the same with the roses stamp.

Now for the portrait of Frida Kahlo.
This is a nice example of how you can also use part of a stamp.
I only used her head and it fit perfectly in the frame.

I made some splatters on the tag with the white paint.
The mat of the tag is made of lilac paper.
The edges are sponged with chipped sapphire.
Now just attach the frame with Frida on it and add some pearls for decoration.
Punch a hole and put a piece of ribbon through it.
I hope you enjoyed it and hope to see your work on the challenge blog.
