Christmas in July challenge at Lost Coast designs/Carmens Veranda

I love Christmas so much.

Decorating the house, making cards and presents.

Being together with the people you love. 

And of course all the delicacies that come with it.

I like it all.

But now over to the tutorial. 

Stamps I used:

Party words

 Large snowflake set

Each snowklake is 2inch

Goth Mistletoe 

(Apologies, the goth mistletoe is no longer available.)

What I used:

Glimmermist or any spray with mica in it.

In light green dark green and rusty orange color.

Orange/rust color embossing powder.

Distressink:

Rusty hinge

Tea dye

Vintage photo

Peeled paint

Shabby shutters

Derwent inktense pencils

Versafine onyx black

Versamark

Small tag

Banner die

How to make the card.

I started by spraying the glimmer mist.

Let this dry thoroughly with the heat tool.

Stamp the large snowflakes along the sides of the card with versamark.

Sprinkle the embossing powder on top and heatset it.

Stamp the Goth mistletoo with versafine black and color with the 3rust/brown pencils.

I made the berries and leaves green with a little distress ink Peeled paint.

With Rusty hinge, Tea dye and Vintage photo

I spunged the adges off the tag.

Cut a second tag 2mm larger on all sides

 and make the edges green with the Distress ink Peeled paint.

Die cut the banner and stamp the "Merry Christmas on it.

Color the banner green with the ink blender and Peeled paint.

Assemble the card and mat it with a matching color cardstock.

For this challenge things with wings, I made this dragonfly.

And this is how I made it.

Markers or pencils (what your preference is)

 How its made.

I really love the glaze resist and use it a lot.

Just love the effect with ink on water base.

And its so easy to use and with great results.

So start with the glaze on your florish stamp.

I stamped it random on the paper.

Then I sprayed the glimmer mist.

It looks so jummie, and the colors blend so well together.

And I love the shimmer of the glimmermist.

Let it dry, I did not use the heattool this time.

The paper was very wet, and I did not want to lose the drops effect.

And how pretty is this and so easy.

Now we stamp the dragonfly on a thin peace of paper.

And color it as you like.

You can take the same colors as the background, 

but it is also pretty when you use different colors.

That way the dragonfly pops more.

I often use a gelpen on my art.

Just love the effect, as specially on the wings of dragonfly's or butterfly's.

It gives it just that little bit special look.

I went along with stamping the Carmen Veranda's child of the moon frase.

Cut it in 4 pieces and hit the edges with the seedles precerves ink.

So you see that you can use a stamp in many different ways.

Now glue every thing on and your done.

Big tag.

This big tag is made with Crafty Individual stamps for the tag challenge.
There is a lot off shine and shimmer on it and I like that. I have tried to use a real vintage color, and I am satisfied with the end result.

Wedstrijd bij ArtSpecially friends

On the blog off the magazine "ArtSpecially" friends is a nice challange.

There is even a price to win.

What the price is, is a secret, that make's me so very curries.

The little canvas is made with wrinkled paper, viva decor Terra, glimmermist, Inka gold and a piece of a Crafty Individual stamp, that I have treated with glossy accents.

Op de blog van de "ArtSpecially" friends is een leuke uitdaging.

Neem snel een kijkje en doe mee, er is een prijsje te winnen.

Wat, dat is een verrassing, wat word ik daar weer nieuwsgierig van.

het mini canvasje is gemaakt met, viva decor Terra, zijde vloei papier, inka gold,glimmermist en een deel van een Crafty Individual stempel, deze heb ik met glossy accents behandeld.

En nog een paar tag's.

De tag met angel wings heb ik bespoten met glimmermist die ik met de cardmaker of the year wedstrijd had gewonnen.

Die is heel apart, als je zo op de tag kijkt zijn de druppels paars.

Draai je naar het licht dan zijn ze goud, heel apart.

Kortom, deze kaart glimmert en glitterd, want op de vleugels heb ik witte glitters gedaan.

Ik vind dit wel een mooie voor de challenge van "Crazy Amigo's", kerst.

Dit vind ik een iets meer traditionel tag.

Ik vond hem erg leuk om te maken, ik had al lang de glossy accents crackle in huis.

Maar nog nooit gebruikt, dus nu eindelijk maar eens gedaan, en vind het wel leuk staan.
Ze doen beide mee met de tag challenge van "Theme Thursday".

Ik heb deze kaart gesponst met distressinkt en bespoten met glimmermist
De mooie tekst stempel is van Amerina Art.
En de dame is van Non Sequitur.
De stempel met bloemen is van Viva Decor.

Glimmermist en tulpen

Deze kaart is de achtergrond bespoten met glimmermist en een vlinder masker.
De tulpen stempel heb ik hier 3 x gestempeld zodat het een echt bosje werd.

Glimmermist en embossingpoeder

Dit achtergrondje heeft een hele mooie glans door de glimmermist.
Ik vond het wel een mooi kleuren combinatie met de zilveren embossingpoeder.
