# 118, Where did you get that hat.

Hi and welcome on my blogpost.
Love this masculine stamp and the steampunk style.
 I used the LCD stamps,
And I used:
Distressink,
Speckled egg
Old paper
Walnut stain
Aged mahogany
Stazon Timber brown
A white pencil
A brown marker
A clock stencil
and a stencil with hand, stars and numbers.

This is how its made.
I started with the distressink speckled egg.
Made some puddles and picked it up with the paper.
For the second layer i used old paper.
Now stamp the flying car with the stazon timber brown.
Make with a little bit Aged mahogany some stains around the car.
Mask the car and use the stencils with the aged mahogany.
Stamp the Destiny stamp.with the brown stazon.
With a blending tool and walnut stain you darken the edges and corners.
Sponge the stencil with the clock with speckled egg.
With the white pencil you color his hat and pants and the vanes of the wings.
Splash some waterdrops on the background and let it dry.
With the brown marker you tap on the background to make some spots so it looks older.
Remove the mask and your done.
Now glue it on some creme and dark brown cardstock.

Dont forget to join this fun challenge.

#118Challenge at Lost Coast designs, Where did you get that hat.

Hello stamp lovers.
Here a post from me, Riet.
What a fun challenge.
Its all about hats, I love that hat, hihi.
For this card I used the pretty LCD stamp Manga goth with tophat.
and the large florish
The words are from Carmens Veranda Wine and chocolates
 What more did I use?
Pink, turqoise and purple pencils.
stazon royal purple
Mandala stencil/mask
Distressink, seedles preserves, dusty concord.
White gelpen
Nuvo shimmer powder, lilac waterfall.
White gelpen.

Start by wetting the paper over the middle part of the paper.
Sprinkle some nuvo powder on the wet part.
When required, spray some water over it.
But no powder on the upper and lower part of the paper.
Dry the paper with the heattool.

On the bottem half stamp the florish with the stazon royal purple.
Now take the mandala and spunge with the seedles preserves over the madala.
Do not go over the florish.
With the pecils I colored the florish and some parts of the mandala.
This way it pops more.
On a piece of paper I stamped the manga girl with the royal purple stazon.
And colored her with the pencils.

And with the white gelpen I added some high lights on the
manga girl and the florish.
With the two distress colors I made some splashes of ink on the card.
Now glue the manga girl on the card.
And stamp with the purple stazon the words on the top of the card.
I added 2 colors of cardstock at the back.

Now, for the challenge we would love to see what kind of hat you are going to show us.
So join our challenge, and maybe you wil be the next winner.

Een snelle achtergrond maken.

Hallo, Riet hier.
Ik dacht dat het wel leuk was,
om te laten zien hoe je heel snel een mooie achtergrond kan maken.
Dit heb ik gebruikt:
Stazon Royal purple.
Distress oxide.
Versa magic midnight black.
Witte gellpen.
DDBD mask Geomatric tiles.
Nuvo blending sponges.
Nuvo glitter marker.
Indigoblu flower heads.
Faber Castell pastel potloden.

#117 Mini me, Frida skull necklace. Challenge Lost coast designs.

                                                      Hello, stamp fiends, Riet here.

What a great challenge Gail (teamleader lost coast designs) has given us.
Mini me, love it.
This challenge really sparked my imagination.
I love shrink foil, so that was the solution to make something small.
And this is the result, a Frida skull necklace.
Hope you enjoy it.

This is what you need to make the necklace.
White shrink foil.
Markers or pencils
Stazon Jet black

First we start with stamping the Frida skull.
Color it, keep in mind that you keep the colors light,
When the foil is heatted and shrinks the colors will be much darker.
Cut it out and heat it in oven or with the heattool.
Read the instructions on the shrink foil package.
Next step is to take a die and cut it out on your machine.
Dont have a die cut machine?
No worry, you can cut a form with a sissors.

Dont forget to make the holes, make them big becouse of the shrinking.
Mine where as big as a pencil.

Stamp with the stazon the fourth demension stamp.

Now wait till the ink is completely dry.
When not dry it can smug when you shrink it.
Now you glue the skull on the background

Attach a few metal rings through the holes, like on the picture.

continue to assemble the necklace as shown on the picture.

I hope you have as much fun with this necklage as I had.
Thanks for reading my post, and have fun with making your own juwelry.

Dont forget to show your minime on the LCD blog in the challenge.
You have a chance to win some rubberstamps.
So please join us at

A birthday card for a man.

A card for my son-in-law's upcoming birthday.
The stamp is from Viva Decor. I've kept it very simple.
Stamped with distress micro glaze, and then with bister natural over it.
Splashed with water and set the edges with Distress Oxide ground espresso.

Challenge 117 at Lost coast designs, Minime, make something small

 Hello stampers and crafters.
What a great challenge, make something small.
This can be anything, an atc, a small box, atc coin, juwelry, shrinkfoil.
I chose shrinkfoil, just love that stuf.

This is what i used.
Sewing bobbin.
A piece of white cotton ribbon.
Shrinkfoil clear.
Distressink:
 Evergreen bough and seedless preserves.
Stazon timber brown.
Bister natural
White acrylic paint
White posca marker
Derwent inktense pencils
Alcohol markers
Mini paper roses.

I started with the ribbon.

I sprayed some water on it and painted the green and pink textile paint on it.

This paint has a pearl shimmer and that looks so lovely.

With the bister natural diluted in water i gave it a bit of a older look.
Set the ribbon aside and let it dry.
We go ahead with the bobbin, and paint it white.
When the paint is dry, give it some smears with the distressink.
Now we stamp with the stazon timber brown the dictionary and florish stamp.
Now we color the florish and make some white accents with the white Posca marker.
Stamp sleeping Lucy on the clear shrink foil with the timber brown.
Shrink the foil with a heattool or oven.
now color Lucy.
Not the wings, they are so beautyful when they are transparent.

Now you can gleu on the roses and the ribbon.
Glue little lucy in the flower, so that it looks as of she is waking up from a little nap in the flowerbed.
I hope you have fun with this tutorial.

I hope you are inspired to join our challenge.
Please let us see your take on the minime challenge.
You have a change to win some rubber.
So why not give it a chance.
