My last entree for the "Love and Hearts"challenge at Lost Coast designs/Carmens Veranda stamps.

I absolutely love this couple.
And so perfect for Valentine's Day with a twist.
The Love stamp is in Dutch, but also available in English.

And this is how I made the card.
Distressink
Villainous potion
Kitch flamingo
Barn door
Derwent inktense and Faber Castel skintones.
Finger sponges and stick sponge.
If you don't have a sponge stick you can also use a cotton swab.

I started by cutting out a paper heart to use as a mask.
Save the outer layer of the paper heart. We'll need it later.
Using a finger sponge and a kitsch flamingo, create strokes from the center outward.
These strokes should be about 2 cm long.

Repeat this process with Barn Door.
Keep the strokes a little shorter so the pink still shows through.

And repeat this again with villainous potion.
But leave about half a centimeter of space between the strokes.

Now use the outside of the paper heart as a mask
and stamp with Villainous potion the dictionary love stamp.

Remove the paper heart and check that it is in the correct place.

Take the outer heart mask and place it neatly on the card.
Stamp the daisy florish with Distressink Barn door.

Stamp with Villainous potion 3 flowers, cut them out and glue them on.

Stamp Frank and his bride with ink on 3 and color them.
And cut them out.

And then I made a mistake.
When I cut out and glue an image,
I always print the stamp on the card first and then glue the cut-out stamp on.
But it was getting late, and I was very tired.
Well, then you're not paying attention, and before I knew it,
I've glued Frank and his bride on.
All in all, the card turned out quite nicely.

Will you join this fun challenge?
There's still time until the end of the month.
You can also enter with other brands; please read the rules to avoid disappointment.
That's it for this month full of love.
See you next month in the new challenge.

At the bottom of the page is another example using the Frank and his bride stamps.

Here is the tutorial for this card.

For the "Love and hearts" challenge at Lost Coast designs/Carmens Veranda stamps.

I love this challenge.
It is Valentine's month, after all.
For this card, I chose my love for pets.
And here's the tutorial.

Materials I used.
Craft Emotions stencil
Acrylic paint, red and white.
Distressink Frayed burlap, Victorian velvet.
Archival Coffee.
Versamark
Clear embossing powder.
Hearts die.

I started with the hearts because this one has different dry faces.

Paint the hearts red and set them aside to dry.

For the background, I did something a little different.
This photo is of a box lid.
I use it to spray backgrounds with spray bottles.
So, there's a lot of glitter, paint, and ink on it.
I sprayed some water on it and placed the paper on top.
This way, the colors and glitter soaked into the paper.
I really liked the result.
While it's drying, we'll continue with the hearts.

The hearts are now completely dry.
Using white acrylic paint and a sponge dabber,
I apply the white paint to the Crackle background stamp.
And stamp it on the hearts.

Let the white paint dry thoroughly.
Because I thought the red was too red and the white was too white,
I used a sponge dipped douber and Distressink
Frayed Burlap to give the hearts a slightly more aged look.

Stamp the text and Spike and Lucy at the bottom of the background.
Please note that there should be room for the hearts.

Let it dry, so we continue with the hearts.

I gave the hearts a beautiful glossy finish with two coats of clear embossing powder.

I think the shiny hearts look beautiful.

Give the edges of the card a little bit brown ink.

Glue the hearts in place.
And mat the card.
I think it has a lovely vintage look.
Now it's your turn: have you made something with love or hearts?
Then join the challenge and have a chance to win new stamps.
At the bottom, you'll find an alternative with the same stamp.

New challenge at Lost Coast Designs/Carmens Veranda stamps #206 Love and Hearts.

Hello stamp lovers.
Today a simple card and suitable for beginners and advanced stampers.
I just love to make Valentine cards and gifts.

I used:
LCD Prom night. (girls stamp).
Stencil with hearts, Dutch Dobaado.
Distress oxide Kitch Flamingo.
Versafine Onyx black.
Black marker.

I made the background with the heart stencil,
and a finger sponge and Distress Oxide Kitch Flamingo.
Don't clean the stencil, but spray it with a little water and print it on a piece of paper.
This will create the negatieve of the stencil.
We will make a text banner from this
and stamp the "sister love on it".

Stamp the Prom Night stamp with the Versafine onyx black on white paper.
And make the edge black with the
black marker.
Do the same with the text banner.

Attach the sisters and the banner to the background using foam tape.
Matte the card with black cardstock.
Now that was easy, not?

Would you like to win new rubberstamps.
Then join oure challenge.

"Lets fly" challenge at Lost Coast designs.

 Hello stamp fans.
Today a contribution for the Lost Coast Designs/Carmens Veranda stamps design team.
The theme for the challenge is "Lets fly".
I used the beautiful praying angel with the dictionary love text stamp.
De border is cald, hearts and curls.
I used the Dutch version, but of course there is also an English version.
Now a small description of how I made the card.
I used:

Distress oxide, Saltwater taffy.
Barn door.
Versafine onyx black.
Stencil with very small hearts.
Acrylic block heart shaped,
or a plastic sheet will do fine.
Black fineliner.

I started by inking the stencil with Distress oxide barn door.
Then lightly spray the stencil with water and print onto the paper.

Stamped the praying angel on thin paper and cut the angel out.
I used the fineliner to draw a black border around the heart.
Stamp the text on the heart with the black versafine.
We also stamp the border in black on the right side of the card.
We stamp the praying angel on thin paper.
Cut her out and glue her to the card.
I matted with gold and black cardstock.

Now it's up to you, join the challenge and have a chance to win new rubber stamps.
Please read the rules first.
The challenge runs until the end of the month,
so there is still plenty of time to participate.
We also have a Facebook group where you can join and show off your work.

Love and hearts challenge at Lost coast designs and Carmens veranda blog.

What a fun challenge, who doesn't like "love and hearts".
Of course I chose the love couple "Frank and Franks bride.
This is what you need for this card.
Distressink
Barn door
Saltwater taffy
Musterd seed
Black soot
Red posca marker
Sakura Pigma
White gellpen
Versafine 0nyx black
Black paint/ink to make spletters
Water based markers
Red sparkless for the hearts border

How to make the card.

I started with an acrylic heart.
If you don't have that, you can also cut a heart from an accitate sheet.
With the distressink Fired brick and Musterd seed I printed the heart on the paper.
Keep repeating that until you are satisfied with the result.
Make a paper mask.
Use the outside of the mask.
And make the black hearts on the red heart with
a stencil with small hearts and distressink Black soot.
Leave the black soot on the stencil and spray some water on it.
Stamp with this top left and bottom right.
With the waterproof black fineliner you can now make winding lines along the heart.
Color the hearts red with the posca marker.
Stamp frank and his bride on a piece of paper.
Color them with markers or pencils.
I made her dress to a polka dot dress and Franks suit to a pinstripe suit.
Stamp the hearts and curls border and color the hearts red with the red posca marker.
Sprinkle the hearts in the border with red glitter.
For the corners i used a border from the brushstrokes set.
And did the same under the feet of Frank and his bride.
This way they look more grounded.
"Love is awsome" is from the misc words sheet.
The word "is", i cut of from sisters.
Draw some black and red lines around the words.
And run the red inkpad along the edges of the card.
Glue the card on a black cardstock and you are done.
Come and join our challenge at Lost Coast Designs/Carmens Veranda blog.
You may even join with other brands, please read the rules first.
Maybe you are the next winner of the challenge,
 and win some rubberstamps.
