Lost Coast Designs challenge #133 Its a Wrap. Wine bottle.

Hi there, I love this challenge.
It's something different than making a card.
I thought long and hard about this project, and thought it would be fun to wrap a wine bottle.
But I didn't want to do it the traditional way.
I used the Labels set and the beautiful Lycaonia stamp,

So I changed the label of the wine bottle with the nice label set stamp.
I left the original label on the bottle and sponged the edges with distressink Walnut stain.
With the wine label stamp, I stamped with micro glaze.
Then sponged the label with Distressink Dusty Concord.
I sponged the outside of the label with distressink Chipped sapphire.
I also did this with the bow and a stamp from the pieces
of architecture set.
The bow is a die cut.

And now the top of the bottle.
Take a strip of paper that fits easily on the bottle.
Make the strip 8 cm wide.
I made a drawing of the model.

Note that the bottom strip is folded forward.
In this way it is a kind of pocket into which a tag will be inserted later.
Sponge it like the label and bow.
Now you make a tag that fits in the bag and sticks out slightly above it.
Make some dots and stars with a white gel pen.
With a stencil I wrote the Merry Christmas on it.

Now stamp the Lycaonia stamp with black waterproof ink.
I colored this stamp with pencils, but you can decide for yourself with which you color.
Glue her on the front edge of the bottle band.

Now put the band with the tag in it around the bottle neck,
see how tight it has to be so that the tag does not bend too much.
Glue the two ends together.
Assemble the bow and glue it just below the Lycaonia stamp.
 And you're done.

I hope you liked it, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
This was my last contribution for this challenge.
But the challenge runs until November 30th.
So you can still participate and stand a chance to win a prize.
And who wouldn't want to win free rubber stamps.

Challenge 133 - Its a wrap, tags, wrappingpaper, gifts or boxes.

Hi crafters,
With the holidays just around the corner, this is a very nice challenge from Lost Coaost Designs.
If you participate you have a chance to win new stamps.
You can participate with stamps from all kinds of brands, as long as your project is stamped.
This time I made a packaging around a box, so much fun to do.

This is what you need to use:

versamark,
Silver and gold embossing powder,
A little box,
Paper with music notes, black paper, gold and silver paper.
Poinsettia die set, and other christmas die's
Distress oxide, Picked raspberry, Seedless preserves,
Abandoned coral and Kitsch flamingo.

We are going to start with a piece of paper with musical notes.
Make sure the box fits in the paper.

We dab the paper in the different colors Distress Oxides.

When that is dry, we stamp the various large snowflakes with
Versamark and sprinkle it with silver embossing powder.

I cut off 3 small snowflakes from the snowflakes border,
and made separate stamps from them.
This is possible because the LCD borders are quite long.
I stamped it with versamark and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder.

After you have heated the powder, let the paper cool down for a while.
Wrap the box with the paper and make a band of black paper around it.
Die-cut all dies and exchange it with gold and silver.
This way you can make a mix in your design.

Glue everything on and you're done.
I hope you enjoyed it and that you get started as well.
The team and I would love it if you would join the challenge,
so we hope to see you on our blog or facebook.
