Mexican town at night

Hello, are you having a nice day? I did, stamped with great pleasure. So created this scenery. I'll tell you how you can make it too. The stamp I used is "South west town" from Carmens Veranda

Smooth stamp paper.
masking tape.
Distressink: chipped sapphire, faded jeans, broken china, bundled sage, antique linen and weathered wood. White acrylic paint. Colorpencils, I used derwent colorsoft.White gelpen. White inkpad (versa magic) Stazon jet black.
First you stamp the South-west-town with black stazon.
Make a mask and mask it.
Cut a circle from masking tape and stick it on the paper, this will become the moon.
Now start with sponges behind and just above the houses with antique linen. Continue with Bundled sage and then the blue colors from light to dark. Apply some white around the moon. Make some splashes on the blue sky with water. When that is dry, splash some stars with white acrylic paint. Now remove the masks. With a small fine sponge you apply some spots on the moon with Weathered wood. Color the houses and put some white lines at the top, so the moon seems to be reflecting its light on the rooftops. Have fun, and dont forget to join in on our challenges.
They start every 1th and 15th of the month.

With a stamping girlfriend I do a prompt swap. I love it, its always a surprise what two people make with the same prompt. This time: one color, watercolor paint-pencils-markers, cardboard, letters and numbers, and a tag. This is what I made.

Gelli plate card

Hi, today a birthday card with a background made on the gelli plate.
Made this card a while back, but forgot to post it.

Hi everybody, its time for a new challenge from Lost Coast Designs.
East meets west,  hhhmmmmm that is interesting.
Its about oriental, western and travel. You have to use hand stamped cards ore other project.
You dont have to include LCD stamps, but it is prefer it.
Well, here is my contribution.

I made this card using a spritzer an some aqua markers. I used the colors dark blue, light blue, orange, green and yellow. First I stamped the lovely Carmen's Veranda Southwest town with stazon black.
Masked the stamp and used the spritzer with the aqua markers. Than remove the masking tape.
I used my derwent colorsoft pencils to color the houses. Used a fineliner marker (stabilo) for the details. So come on over to the challenge and join us, and maybe you will win some rubberstamps.

Lost Coast Designs color challenge #98

Hello there, my contribution to the challenge with the colors, Terracotta, turquoise, black and white. Love these colors. Stamps I used are: Mother of dragons and large florish. And wow what a gorgeus stamps they are. I used watercolor paper and watercolor paint. Stazon jet black and versamark clear and black embossing powder.

Because the mother of dragons is a very detailed stamp, I stamped it with embossing powder. Then masked and the swirls stamped. I colored with watercolor paint. Black mat pasted behind it and you're done.

You can still enter the challenge, so join the fun and you can win some rubber.

New challenge on the Lost Coast Designs blog.

Hello everyone, how are you doing? The new challenge will start again at LCD. And this time it is a color challenge, love it !!!! Terra, turquoise, black and white. Wow, what a wonderful combination. Here is my contribution with a small explanation. Materials:

Versafine onyx black
Watercolor paint
White gellpen

Start by stamping the Cityscape stamp on the bottom of the card with the black versafine and mask that. Then you stamp the top half of the Fourth dimension stamp. On top of that the crows border. Then color the top edge with the turqouse crows and slightly darker blue in the corners. Then you color the Cityscape stamp as you see fit. Some accents with the white gel pen and you're done. Have fun and don't forget to join our challenge. You can win beautiful stamps and of course also the honor of winning.
