# 152 Things with wings challenge at Lost Coast designs.

Hello everyone,
Today an art journal page for the "things with wings" challenge.
I stamped it purely with ink.
Lost Coast Designs has released a great new sheet,
I have enjoyed stamping with this new sheet.

Stamps I used:
Five stamps from the Brush strokes sheet
Carmen's Veranda, Art wings to fly.

Stazon Jet black
Distress oxide
Wild honey
Bundled sage
Peacock feathers
Saltwater taffy
Watercolor markers

I started with Stazon Jet black.
I stamped the Praying angel with it.
I also stamped the checkered border and crows border with the Stazon jet black.
With the 4 colors Distress oxide and some water I made some ink spots on the empty spots.
I stamped the background with these five stamps from the brush strokes sheet.
All with the distress oxide colors.

With the crackle stamp and black stazon,
i made some small prints in the empty spots of the paper.
With the long small stamp I stamped the edges with stazon jet black.
With the markers I colored the goth crow and the angel.
I hope you enjoyed it and that you also get to work on the challenge theme, "Things with wings".
You can also participate with other brands.
But of course we prefer Lost coast designs or Carmen's Veranda stamps.
You have until the 30th to participate, and you can also win new stamps.
The team is looking forward to what you will make, so feel free to join us.

New challenge at Lost Coast Designs, "Things with wings".

Today a new challenge starts at Lost Coast Designs. "Things with wings".
Well I think every stamper has a stamp with wings in it.
So come join the challenge!
It doesn't matter which brand you use, you can still participate.
And maybe you'll win new rubber stamps.
For my contribution I made a tag with the beautiful "Girl with wings" stamp from LCD.

And this is how I made it.
LCD, Girl with wings.
LCD, Long swirl.
LCD, Butterfly set.
Distress micro glaze.
Versmark and an embossing ink pen.
Gold embossing powder.
watercolor paper.
watercolor paint.

To start, take an ink blending tool with Distress micro glaze.
With this you apply it to the stamp.
Print it on watercolor paper.
You can clean your stamp with warm water and a little soap.
Choose your colours,
I chose yellow, turquoise, light green and dark green.
But you can also take a different color combination.
Apply the paint with a wet brush, and the distress glaze acts as a resist.
Repeat until you are satisfied with the result.
Looks so beautiful.
Stamp with the Long swirl and versamark below and above the winged girl,
and sprinkle the golden embossing powder over it.
Melt with the heat tool.
With the embossing ink pen you also do the
outer edges of the tag with the gold embossing powder.
Repeat this process with the butterflies.
Cut them out and stick them on with raised tape.
Make it look as if they are flying away.

Now its up to you.
Make something with wings and join the challenge.
And maybe you will be the winner of some new stamps.
Please read the rules first.

#151 Use at least 3 stamps challenge.

                                                                        Hello dear stampers,
Today 2 houses for the house, lol.

I had 2 pieces of wood and sawn houses from them.
I found the sentiments Geluk (happiness) and Liefde (love) so suitable for these houses.
Because that's what we all want, a house full of happiness and love.
It was a present for my daughter, so I chose the Dutch sentiments.
But LCD also has these stamps in English, here is the link.

Now the description of how the houses are made.
What I used.
Stazon Jett black, white acrylic paint, beige/brown markers.

First I painted the blocks with white paint.
It doesn't have to be neat, I wanted it to look worn.
When the paint was dry I sanded the edges with sandpaper.

Then I stamped the shrubbery stamp with the stazon.

Then I stampd the bees and I masked them.

Stamped the text on it.
I gave the bees some color with the beige and brown markers.
And really, that was all.
Easy and yet such a nice result.
Have you also made something fun with 3 stamps or more?
Show us and join the challenge until September 15th.
It may even be stamps from other brands.
Here is the challenge link, and here you will find the rules for the challenge.
Hope you will play along and maybe you are the winner of some gorgeus rubber stamps.
